About the Simulations

Troubleshooting Control Circuits includes two unique control circuit simulations: a practice control
circuit simulation and a highly realistic electric door lock circuit simulation environment.

Practice Control Circuit Simulation

The first circuit simulation consists of a transformer, a fuse, several relays, switches, and lights. With this simulation your students will be coached step by step through the troubleshooting process on two guided faults and then be given the opportunity to solve six different exercise faults.

Door Lock Circuit Simulation

The electric door lock circuit is a more complex simulation that puts your students in a realistic environment where they will develop, practice, and refine their new troubleshooting skills.

  • Guided faults coach your students through the most effective and efficient process for troubleshooting faults.
  • Practice faults help improve their troubleshooting techniques by providing hints and feedback.
  • Skill Test faults put their skills to the test without any assistance during the troubleshooting process.
